This half-day  course is aimed at those who would like to learn about statistics for language testing.

The course provides an overview of the different stages at which statistics are useful throughout the cycle of designing, validating, managing, and reviewing a language exam, and suggestions for practical follow-up action. It also aims to help better understand the role of statistics and how to interpret them when working with analysts, or individually.

The course will be led by Jane Lloyd (Cambridge University Press and Assessment), an experienced tutor and expert in the field.

A more detailed programme will be available closer to the date.
